Aerospace Huanyu disclosed in its investor relations activity records on August 10 that the company has undertaken the development of composite material horizontal tail, vertical tail, rear fuselage, full-scale prototype wing, central assembly jigs, central wing automated drilling/riveting components, and semi-automated production line equipment for the C919 program. In 2015, through the development of the C919 full-scale composite wing box project, the company overcame challenges in composite molding processes, structural design, hermetic welding of special materials, and collaborative design/debugging with clients’ advanced manufacturing equipment. This established its capability to develop semi-automated production lines for large-scale composite wings in aviation. In 2019, the company established a joint venture with COMAC's Shanghai Aircraft Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (Hunan Feiyu Aviation Equipment Co., Ltd.) dedicated to aviation process equipment, driving rapid growth in this business segment.
