Financial World News, August 4, 2024 – Tianyancha intellectual property information shows that Hunan Aerospace Huanyu Communication Technology Co., Ltd. has obtained a patent titled "Multi-Chamber Integrated Fuel Tank for UAVs," with authorization announcement number CN114228975B and application date January 2022.
Patent Abstract: A multi-chamber integrated fuel tank for UAVs includes multiple adjacent fuel storage chambers. A connectivity structure is installed on the chambers to transport fuel between them. An intermediate layer wraps around the chambers to enhance their strength and sealing, while an outer shell further reinforces the intermediate layer. The shell is equipped with oil inlet/outlet mechanisms for fuel supply and discharge, as well as a pressurization mechanism to increase internal pressure. The fuel chambers are bound together by the intermediate layer, which encapsulates inner sealant layers, reinforcing frames, and partition frames. An additional outer shell covers the intermediate layer, forming a three-layer sealing structure (sealant layer, intermediate layer, and outer skin), significantly improving the tank's overall sealing. The multi-chamber integrated tank is part of the UAV's airframe, with all frames and main beams serving load-bearing functions. This design achieves deep integration between the fuel tank structure and the airframe, fulfilling both structural support and fuel storage roles.
